New Community Crossing

Such a positive outcome strongly advocated for by a wonderful community member who was concerned for students who had no safe crossing when walking to and from school. She wasn't part of the interview, but when Shannon spoke with her she clearly was a driving force behind a great initiative of safety.

This crossing is for families, for students, for everyone in our community who values a safe way to cross the road. She also told Shannon the request was knocked back initially and she had to fight on a political front to get it passed.

Just like so many in the community we are excited to have this crossing to bring ease to our outings especially our transition to school visits that are reoccuring.

Added bonus is to be able to watch the construction from our gates.
